A-10 makes debut at Aviation Expo Europe

6/26/2012 - BITBURG, Germany – Visitors get a close-up view of an A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 81st Fighter Squadron during Aviation Expo Europe here June 23. The annual expo featured multiple aerial demonstrations and an aircraft sales and showcase floor. More than 5,000 exhibitors, vendors and visitors attended the three-day event. Note: Pictured is A-10C 82-0654 from the 81st Fighter Squadron (still with wrong tail marking AF 81-654, but with right marking on the ladder). Crew inscription: PLT: CAPT PATRICK PARRISH, DCC: SSGT JESSE WILLIAMS, ACC: SRA RUSSELL FREEMAN. Also note the huge dent on the nose, caused by a tanker boom.
